Guest Poem of the Week

How to build and not crumble
Carry the good without fumble
Is it real or boredom
Is it relief from the kingdom you built for you
Do you have me here because I understand your secret
The secret that only you know
That I know
Or am I like anyone...anything...everyone else
Or do I matter like the thing you are about to eat?
Vital....needed...delicious..then consumed....finished...regretted
Like a blanket when cold... Loved then cast off when hot, suffocating and smothered.
